Let’s be honest — studying is tough. Being a student doesn’t necessarily mean inspiration, endless fun, love, and partying. Exams happen, same as essays, sleepless nights, and dreadful profs. But at the same time, if you ask anybody who`s already overcame that life stage, you’ll probably hear that student life is absolutely stunning and can be defined as time of one’s life.
Studying is about constant development, striving forward, seeking for answers. It is also about plenty of scribble and reading, sometimes by your own will, sometimes — not.
For me, the writing has always been more challenging, but I enjoyed it. I liked delving into the topics, using billions of online materials, reading paperbacks to generate ideas, suffering the edits, and finally — savoring the results. However, sometimes, you get stuck on the final phase and realize that you cannot serve as conclusion generator anymore. Then time stops, and you dive into another process, which is called reading, to find rather inspiration or motivation.
During my student years, when I had to do my essay, I’ve been in that state quite often. And after dozens of absorbing books, I’ve created a decent list of just 4 works, which can put everything in order, defining the power of, seemingly, small words.
Here is my list:
This book not only helped me to improve my memory but generally explained useful learning techniques. Methods are scientifically proved and supported by various researches. Make It Stick benefits greatly from its use of stories about people who have achieved mastery of complex knowledge and skills. More, it is easy to read and use on daily basis.
This one is quite famous: it is good to discipline yourself and reveal some new skills. What is funny, once I’ve been searching for some additional help on essay examples services. That is when I found free papers on paperap.com with brilliant quotes from this book. So I did my paper, based on these essay examples and, perhaps, it was the best article I’ve ever written.
I’ll just say that in my case, I read 250% faster now. This book is a continuous workshop, which forces to make an effort. As a result, you understand what you read on 600 words/min speed. However, this it’s not only about velocity but also about the quality of perception. Must-read!
Not only motivational books deserve to be in charts. I’ve started to read it because it was free, after 2 minutes reading it, I was crying out of laughter. Generally, it’s just a story about a young and desperate psychology professor who robs banks. He does it with grace and humor, in between, he quotes Montaigne, Socrates, and others. This book will make you realize that there’s always an escape from routine and time for good philosophical quote.
Read and enjoy!
